Why is Enlightenment philosophy a dangerous myth?

Because, just like communism, it is based on a mistaken view of human nature, which has been invalidated by modern science.

The myth of Enlightenment philosophy can be summarized as the belief that:
1. if humans are given a good education
2. if society is given the ability to freely debate issues,
then it will find, adopt, and implement satisfactory solutions.

Read chapter 7 'Going beyond the Enlightenment philosophical view' of the book From Capital to Reason (which is probably only comprehensible after reading the entire first part of the book).
